Michelle Clark F.B.T.D.A      

Academy Principal, Examiner, Adjudicator, Lecturer and Choreographer.
Michelle trained at Shelby from 2 yrs to 16. She then attended Performers Dance College for a year before taking her first professional job. After years in the Profession, Michelle decided that her heart was really with teaching so she came back to her home town to take up her love of Choreography and teaching. She spent years Choreographing  professionally for T.V, Theatre, Fashion shows, Cabarets etc. Michelle is now the Principal of the Shelby Academy and also works as an Examiner and Adjudicator for  British Theatre Dance Assocation.

Sue Clarke B.T.D.A (dip)            

Teacher / Choreographer

Sue trained at Shelby and then graduated from Leicester College of Performing Arts, gaining a Trinity Diploma. After a few years of dancing and singing professionally, Sue decided that teaching was where her heart lay and joined Shelby in January 2007

Sam Day B.T.D.A                     

Teacher / Choreographer

Sam trained at Shelby until 16 and then went on to graduate at Leicester College of Performing Arts with a Trinity Diploma. She joined Shelby in July 2006 as teaching was her chosen career.

Sarah Young       

Teacher / Choreographer

Sarah trained at the Shelby Academy is Head of our 'Special Needs' department. She and her amazing team of "Sarah's Shelby Stars" perform at our Annual show and at Demonstrations throughout the year.
